After this week of holidays I am back with more urban fashion!

I specially love this look by Eva (aka IBelieveInUnicorns) . It is sooo sweet! I love the beret + scarf idea, it transport me back to another era ;)

So, on the left the original look and on the right the Etsy items I found to recreate her look, in case anyone wants to change style a little bit. I know I'd love to dress like that so here it goes!

blouse: h&m
skirt, shoes & bag: free-section at the local flea market
tights: local brand
beret: thrifted
scarf: part of a thrifted blouse

Sellers, left to right, top to bottom, are (link to the item): thirteenleafclover, flutter, gilbea, kirbyvintage, FantasyVintageWear, jessbobess, shazzasknits, knittles, junkenvyEtsy, raretreasure, shockhits, MariesVintage

All that and add a pair of white tights you probably have at home and voila! A super sweet outfit! =)

Hope you liked this outfit and stay tuned for next one! If you want to collaborate with one of your own outfits, please send me the photo or link. You can see my contact details on the left column. Thanks!

P.S: Thanks Eva!!! =)

Oh, and just wanted to announce that my last hand fans collection is already in my etsy shop. I only have 6 fans left and they are the last ones until next year. So if you want a fan this summer, hurry up! :)

First of all I have to say (1 day late): We are the champions of Europe!!! After 44 years of not winning and 25 years of not getting to a semifinal I think it was about time. Somehow Spain is one of the biggest countries in football (soccer for americans) and a favourite but then the team always screws up. It's funny how I usually hate football and then the World cup or euro cup takes place and I can't stop watching the games. Maybe because you get to see all the stereotypes there: italians dress better, play rough. Germans are tall and big, Swedish are blonde. Spaniards are fast, thin, small and dark haired lol.
And somehow when your team wins it makes you feel happy, even though that is not gonna pay your bills haha.

I'm sorry for the germans because I noticed they are good loosers. They were sad and all that but I didn't see anyone crying. Maybe it's because Spain won not thanks to good luck but because they really played better. =) (I'm so sure if Spain had lost the players would have been crying. Spanish men are very emotional I guess lol)

And now back to the fashion world!

Last week I didn't have time to do this post, but it is one of my favourites so here it is again!
I love getting to see wicked outfits by regular people, they always amaze me and give me new ideas. Most of the times I end up thinking, wish I could get that style!

In my defense, I have to say yesterday I tried my own =) I will post it soon for your delight hehehe but even though I love fashion, I'm not very fashionable or have a real style lol

Anyways, here is this week's urban fashion take 3. Today: Elissa (aka spandexpony). I loved this outfit as soon as I lied my eyes on it =) I think you will too.
On the right, the original look, on the left, items I found in Etsy to recreate.

Sweater: thrifted, remixed!
Belt: thrifted
Tube top of non-modesty: UO
Jeans: American Rag
Minty delicious heels: thrifted

Sellers, left to right, top to bottom, are (link to the item): salvagelife, kahiko, estatesale, postindustrialware, missbrache, iriestar, ChatuchakLimited, setene, cherrytomatovintage, tanjiamichelle, turquoiseheaven, CatseyeVintage

And, very very important, take a look at spandexpony's blog! It is just awesome! Full of great looks she sees in the streets =) and other fashion ideas and outfits. Believe me, you'll love it.

Hope you liked this post and stay tuned for next one!

P.S: Thanks Elissa!!! =)

On a side note I would like to announce that the shop floralia is having a 40% discount in her etsy shop! Get some really pretty fine art photographic prints.

Thanks for letting me know TickledPinkKnits! =)

I had to continue this great series, and since I'm slowly getting into the summer mood, I chose an outfit from wardrobe remix that really inspired me to get out the summer dresses.

So far I'm white as paper because it has been the most rainy May in 25 years. Can you believe that? And you thought in Spain all we do is sunbathe while we drink sangria lol =) That was my plan for summer anyways hehe but summer is coming in a little late!

Anyways, I found this awesome outfit from nushbush. It was love at first sight. Her dress is super sweet!
And on the right I show you what I could find in Etsy to recreate a similar look :)

cardigan - uniqlo
dress - a vintage shop off the mile end road
shoes - keds/office
school bag - she made it

Sellers, left to right, top to bottom, are (link to the item): Branches, NikitaJade, SkivvyLuLuVintage, jeedesign, Rohm, fringe, emeraldvintage, tortillagirl, createitcottage, bunny, emandsprout, bunny

Maybe the shoes are a little too much, but I just loved them! =)

And don't forget to check nushbush's blog: magicFINGERS! Not only she has great outfits, but she also knits lovely items.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for another urban fashion next week!

Sorry for not writing more often, I am quite busy with a final paper that is killing meee arghghhg

Anyways. A couple weeks ago I discovered the most fabulous flickr groups evah! It's called wardrobe_remix and it's about people's outfits =) People just take a photo of themselves wearing whatever they chose that day and post it there. It's so much fun to go through it to get new fashion ideas!!! I wish I'd be more fashionable, then I'd post my photos there. But I don't think tshirt and jeans falls into any fashion category.

So, I asked there if anybody would like to work with me, letting me post one of her/his pictures and I would try to find similar items in Etsy :) A couple of them answered me, and here it goes, Urban Fashion take 1!

Caroline was so kind to participate in this series, and let me chose one of her outfits:

purple headband - goody
orange top - target
belt - thrifted
skirt - nike golf, thrifted
shoes - bandolino

As you can see above, did a little research in Etsy to find some clothes to achieve a similar style.

Sellers, left to right, top to bottom, are (link to the item): flutter, artifactory, snoozerloser, beasBargains, raretreasure, ShannahMMignini, ModishVintage, laddsleather, WillowsWorld, DewberryVintage, gemdropsjewelry, jacquiem76

I don't know why, but a pleated white skirt was almost impossible to find!!

I hope you liked today's post =)
If you have a look or style you would like to submit, please post a comment!

Caroline has a vintage shop in etsy full of awesome stuff!! Please check it out:

Next blog post will be: Get Penelope Cruz's look!

P.S. Thanks a lot Caroline!! =) Love your outfits and your shop.
